With decades of experience in the unscripted television world, Katie has become one of the most recognizable and reputable names in the business. Her development skills are grounded in true doc-series formats, and she has been singled out for her ability to find compelling characters that have provided direct to series orders, high network ratings, and series franchises, season after season.

She has cast some of the most popular and highly rated reality programs ever produced, ranging from Bravo’s ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ and ‘Big Brother’ for CBS, to ‘Life Below Zero’ for National Geographic and ‘Outlast’ for Netflix. Her other work has appeared on History Channel, HGTV, Lifetime, TLC, OWN, Discovery +, Disney +, E!, FOX, ABC, and NBC. Her shows have been recognized and awarded by the Television Academy, Teen Choice Awards, and C21/Frapa at MIPCOM.

She has worked in live television on The American Music Awards, The Daytime Emmys and QVC, and is experienced in game shows and international production. A highly sought-after development partner, she has teamed up with several renown producers and production companies to deliver original concepts and stimulating casts. Her collaboration history includes projects with Talos Films, Lifetime, A&E and BBC Worldwide Productions.

Katie is the president and owner of Mac Worldwide, Inc. She has served on several industry related panels and is an active member of The Television Academy, NATPE, The Academy Museum and Film Independent.

An NCAA All-American springboard diver, she began her career as a celebrity publicist where she gained an extensive background in the corporate, special event, fashion, and performing artist arenas. Among her most notable clients were Nicole Miller, Britney Spears, and Jay Z.

Katie is a recognized industry leader, celebrated for her extensive contributions to television and media. Her shows have earned multiple nominations and wins, including prestigious Emmy Awards, Kid's Choice Awards, and accolades like the Best Factual Format at FRAPA/Mipcom. As a dedicated advocate for excellence, she volunteers with the Television Academy Intern Program and serves as a judge for both the Los Angeles Area Emmys and the Children and Family Emmys. Her expertise is further acknowledged with her recent selection as a juror for the 2025 Real Screen Awards. This year, she proudly holds a seat on the SAG Awards Motion Picture Nominating Committee.
